Android Apps Education,sports and more

Are Android apps becoming too powerful, too intrusive on daily life? Surely u can get an app for everything these days. U can pretty much pay for everything with ur phone,tablet, but do u trust the device/software too much ? are banking apps 100% secure? After all it's your money. Samsung facial recognition payment ... hmmm?? too soon ? after all it's not that uncommon for devices to explode, catch on fire etc ....
Have corporations (Big Brother?) trap us all into using these devices? Can you leave home without having your mobile ? Are driven to have the need to constantly update ?
